I don't know WHAT THE HELL is WRONG with me. I feel kinda tired lately. Never had enough sleep since last week. Plus, stress is building up day to day (production problems, work transfer issues, house issues, on-going issues, huge pimples without pus breaking out before that 'period'... bla-bla-bla).
I need a BREAK badly!!! I need to go for a travel OR sign up for activities that keep me occupied and stress free. Be it marathon, hiking, skytrex, or just jogging in the park. I have to do something to reduce stress and cope with my 'down-going' mood!!!!
Oh God, please help me cope with my mood instability!!! (-m-)

Dangling in the air
I made a vow last week ~ I vowed to work out at least 3 times per week from this week onwards. But hell... I didn't get to gym out even 1 day!!!
Been working late these 2 days. Yesterday evening, I got stuck with my user in doing prolonged UAT. Today, my brain got jammed for the entire day in debugging a stupid asssembler program!!! Arrggghhhhhh~!!! Oh God... When can I leave programming tasks for good? I beh tahan liao laaaaaaaaa.... (>.<)
Sigh. I wonder why the girl didn't report to work on 1-July. IF she comes in, I will be in Cloud-9 now (will be handling over all the programming tasks to her and prepare to say bye-bye to my 4 years old workstation+cubicle).
Well... What can I say? All things were fated. I voiced-out my transfer request at a shitty bad wrong timing. Let's just hope my boss will keep his promise to release me by end of this month (regardless on whether or not the 'other' vacant is filled or not).
Can't wait. Can't wait to break away from the green and black programming screen soon... Cross your fingers and wish me luck! Hiiiiyyaaaa~!!!!

Paul who???
Now EVERYBODY is talking about Paul. I can't imagine how could a small 'sotong' could affect the world so much!!! Just because five out of six of his predictions were accurate, that's why now he's being recognized by the whole freaking world as the psychic octopus?? How skeptical is that?
This particular phenomena triggered one question in my mind. A' lucky' octopus who coincidentally predicted correctly on the outcomes for five football matches is now being worshiped and followed by millions billions zillions of people around the world!
But... Why would ANYONE deny the presence of Almighty God? HE gave us the galaxy and created gravity. HE gave us air, water and light. HE gave us the ability to think, speak and conquer the world. How come SOME of us out there still don't see HIM nor recognize HIS almighty ability?
Don't und, don't und... Anyhow, please don't feel offended upon reading this entry. It is just a personal thought that I have mind now. No hidden meaning behind the words... Kekeke...
Chill~!!!
**P/S: We shall watch and see if Paul was right about Spain beating Germany in the semi final. Hehe. Yes, I worship God but it doesn't mean I can't follow sotong's news right?? LoL~!!!
Waka-Waka-Eh-Eh, This time for Africa... WooHoo~!!

Baby darling, why wee-wee on me?
My mom's best bud and her 7-month old grandkid came to my house yesterday. Aunty Doris, being too tired at carrying little Ann-Ya over extended period, switched the carrying task to me immediately upon reaching our home. The bubbly and chubby little 7-month old is definitely everyone's darling! She won't stop wiggling and giggling upon being 'lured' with food. Yes, lol, no doubt this yiyi is very bad. But her 'wai-sik' reactions over edible goodies are simply too irresistible... xD
Ann-Ya was seated on my lap when me when my sis played food fight with her. We had so-so-so much fun watching the little one fighting over the food in our hands! Well, I guess even little toddler knows how to take revenge on bad yiyi's behavior. While munching on the piece of raisin bread that my sis gave her, I suddenly felt a warm sensation at the center of my lap. I felt odd as the warm sensation got stronger. I then touched the baby's bottom. Damn it... The stupid diaper leaked!!! My lap was covered with Ann-Ya's pee all over!!!
I held the baby and looked at her. She gave me the 'pa-pai' look, didn't bother over my stare and continue munching on her piece of bread. Sigh... Served me right. Baby's revenge was so-so-so successful. Why? Her pee soaked wet all over my pants and landed in a small pool of puddle on the wooden chair I was seated on. LoL!!! No joke, even my underwear was soaked in her pee! I have to change both my undy and outer pants after the incident.
I was deemed lucky to be at home instead of being in the public when little Ann-Ya peed on me. Can you imagine how the situation would turn out if the wee-wee incident happened in a shopping mall?? LMAO... xD

Where are the EMS when we need them??
I stumbled on a sad article in a shared Facebook note this morning. It is about about a tragic event that occurred yesterday in the SCKL Marathon.
Below is the extraction from the original article in Facebook:
A Tragic Incident at Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2010
-- by Toh Yit Ming via FB shared notes
I would like to share a tragic incident that happened at Standard Chartered KL Marathon today…
When i was running my final 2 km on the 10km… as i was running along the road in front of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, i saw a guy was sitting on the road side then soon enough he collapsed…
this incident attracted my attention as a guy(a training doctor, named Irkhan) that was trying to help him was shouting for medic..
as i was a trained EFR, i ran over to see what is happening.. (it was around 1 hour into the race for 10km runners)
i got to know that the guy (named Lim) has collapsed and was having seizure.. we tried to place him in recovery position… he was breathing very heavily and shortly and he was also biting his teeth very very hard… i was afraid that he will hurt himself (with either biting his own tongue or he closed up his airway).. so i tried to open up his jaw and tried to communicate wif him to have him relax and breath easily.. he then slowed down his breathing and taking deeper breath…
another lady (Pei Kheng) came to help and constantly monitor on his pulse… and Dr. Visva (was another participant in the run) came over to help…
Then suddenly, his pulse was gone… then we lied him flat and started on CPR procedures… we constantly check on his pulse to check whether his pulse has come back.. we did chest compression and also mouth-to-mouth breathing to Lim…
as we were doing the CPR procedures, we did not sight medic anywhere.. and we tried to shout as loud as possible for medic…
After awhile into the CPR procedures, "lady A" said that she could feel his pulse but was very weak.. then we stopped the CPR procedures to see whether he regain consciousness or not…
After i stopped the chest compression on Lim, i started shouting for medic services again with the hope that a medic services is nearby and heard us.. but unfortunately not… we only sighted 3 DBKL Officers(with big motorcycles) just stood by the road side and just stare… the did not come over to help or to check out what happened… (it was around 10 minutes that Lim collapse and had seizure)…
after a moment, Lim loose his pulse again.. we started CPR procedures again.. we still did not sight an ambulance or any EMS(Emergency Medical Services) around… after approximately 30 compression, Lim regained his pulse but was very very weak.. and yet.. there was still no ambulance or EMS sighted… and DBKL officers still stood there and did not came over to help… so I informed a passer by to run to the officers to tell them to call for an EMS soonest possible...
after we performed CPR procedures on Lim for the the third time, finally a St. John ambulance came after around 15 - 20 minutes after Lim collapsed…
we let the EMS officers to take over the CPR and First Aid… Dr. Visva asked whether do they have the AED(Automated External Defibrillator)… one of the person from the EMS said that they do not have it.. then I asked whether do they have a face mask with pump.. they also did not have it there… THEY PRACTICALLY HAVE NOTHING IN THE AMBULANCE!!!!!!!! -.-"
EMS took him and speed their way to HKL…
we were later informed that the Response time for EMS is 3 minutes but it took them almost 20 minutes to arrive… and later.. as I was reading through the Runners Guide that was provided in our running kit…
There is a statement (at page 15) that states that "Medical Assistance - Medical Aid is available every 4km and at the Finish Area. Due to runner's physical condition, Medical Officials are authorized to stop runners and remove their timing chip"…
every 4KM MY ROYAL ASS.. I did not see any first aider, ambulance or any sort of medical officials along my 10km route… and if 4km was true.. it definitely will not take them SO LONG to arrive...
-------------------------- -------------------------- -------------------
I got a call from Dr. Visva a moment ago.. he went to HKL to check out the condition of Lim and he informed me that Lim have passed away on his arrival to the hospital… T__T
Lim is only into his 20's and was running the 10KM distance…
P/s: please share this note to as many people as possible.. we will hope to create awareness on the inefficiency of EMS, DBKL officers and organiser of standard chartered KL Marathon 2010... we also want to create an awareness that this kind of inefficiency have caused a life of a young man...
we will hope that the marathon organisers will take responsibility and make EMS a top priority in their planning
It's heart breaking, isn't it?
The poor guy would have been alive IF there's proper EMS allocated throughout the running routes! What?!!! No AEDs allocated to other medical organizations other than hospitals??? Are we living in a third world country? What the hell is the government thinking? Sigh....

I signed up for WHAT again?!
ALL of my mates know very well that I'm is not a gym kaki. I stepped my feet on a treadmill for the very first time 3 weeks ago. I trained 5 days per week ever since. Well, wonder why would a lazy bum like me suddenly changed overnight? Sigh. The reason behind is: I signed up for the 10KM SCKL Marathon 2010 empty mindedly about a month ago.
10KM seems 'OK' when I checked out on the Race Category prior registration. When I compared 10KM with 42.2KM full marathon and 21.1KM half marathon, it really seemed kacang... Hmm? Why didn't I consider the 5KM run huh? You mean joining the FUN run with parents and kids? "Aiya, don't want lah... Very malu lah run with kiddos!! It's super-duper kacang, ok?!!! So not me leh!"
Well my friends, please note that pride could sometimes bring you 'huge trouble', especially when you made decision in haste!!
Well my friends, please note that pride could sometimes bring you 'huge trouble', especially when you made decision in haste!!
I only realized the fact that 10KM is a freaking long distance after my first attempt on the treadmill. My last run before hitting the gym was 13 freaking years ago (PJK fit test during high school days). My first casual 25 minutes jog (hell, its not even close to a run) already made me feel like this poor chap:
Guess how long did I manage to run in 25 minutes? Jeng-jeng-jeng-jeng: A whopping 1.5KM in 25 minutes! Phew... I already feel like a dried sotong after the short 1.5KM jog. The actual run will be 7 times longer, with a 90 minutes cut-off time. Hah!! Serve me right! I heard St Pete's voice in me shouted: "Congratulations darling, welcome to HELL!!"
Sigh... Well, what should I say? It's too late for me to turn back now as what's done, was done. Since I've signed up for the run, I will NOT chicken out, but will run with all my effort this Sunday. Wish me luck! ;)
